Summer Sale

It’s no secret that I’m on a first-name basis with the Fedex and UPS guys at my house, but it’s starting to be the case here even at my parents’ house. In the early afternoon the trucks would pull up, and before I even rip open the packages, I can already feel an upsurge of serotonin through my body. Mood goes up, energy goes up, bank account goes down.

So the shoes in today’s entry have been some of my scores from the recent summer sale. The ready-to-wear loot has also been particularly…shall we say, generous. I was lucky enough to find this dream dress in both salmon and black.

I keep telling my mom that the longer it takes my father to recover, the more her house is going to look like a Chanel store. More revelations when I get back home next week. I’m going to need an extra suitcase, because as I was writing here, look what the guy in brown dropped off …
