Thanksgiving 2014

Thanksgiving 2014 came earlier this year for me, by a week, when I was in Dallas. I was there too early for the famous Neiman Marcus Christmas buffet at the flagship store downtown so my parents and I had brunch at the Four Seasons instead.

But instead of seeing decorations with cornucopias, turkeys, or anything remotely related to Thanksgiving, we found ourselves amidst a winter wonderland!

It was hard to not get into the holiday spirits when there were so many Christmas trees in one room! So my mom and I worked off the carbs by running around taking a lot of photos while my dad was glued to his new phone (if I may present the photographic evidence).

The flower arrangements were so beautiful we had to take some fluff pics of my mom’s bling and my outfit of the day (a Banana Republic dress paired with a JCrew cardi).

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you, wherever you may be. I am thankful for all of your readership. And I am thankful my dad finally put his phone down so I could take this photo of the two blessings in my life, my parents.
