Last Morning In Krakow
I have a late afternoon flight out of Poland so on my last morning in Krakow, I wander through its historical center looking for souvenirs for family and friends, stopping along the way for the last meal, the last look at the crowds in the main square, and finally, the last train ride from Krakow…
As I do on all my trips, I take a photograph of the last thing I see as I put a city behind me, and this time it’s of a train arriving from Oświęcim, which I find to be a fitting reminder of a memorable visit at Auschwitz.
Grab your sunblock; we’re going to the beach next!
